February 2027 will be fair once again – and we believe this is more than just a nice idea. Fairbruary is a Germany-wide campaign calling on people to make a conscious effort to shop fairly for a whole month and to discover products that have been produced under better and fairer conditions.
Why a month like Fairbruary is important
Behind many everyday products are people who often work under difficult conditions. The aim of fair trade structures is to improve the living and working conditions of producers.
Worldwide, this affects millions of farmers and workers who grow and process raw materials – from almonds and shea to cotton and natural rubber.
Fair trade relationships mean:
- living wages
- long-term partnerships
- social security
- Investments in community projects
- Promotion of equality
Fairbruary reminds us that conscious consumption is not a trend, but a responsibility.
What this has to do with Fair Squared
At Fair Squared, we have been working with fair-trade raw materials since our foundation – including natural rubber, coconut oil, olive oil, almonds and apricot kernels.
Our approach goes beyond individual raw materials. For us, fairness means:
