Ever since Biofach / VIVANESS 2019, we have been offering natural cosmetics in reusable glass containers. 💪 Our ‘reusable’ mission began with recycled filling material made from cardboard boxes. The plastic inserts in the lids of jars and bottles were replaced with reusable inserts made from natural rubber. Today, our customers can return their empty containers to physical shops (e.g. package-free shops or organic shops) or, if they have 10 or more jars, post them back to receive a voucher for the fair2.me online shop. In this way, we avoid single-use packaging and help to reduce waste. 🗑️ But we’ve gone one better for our customers: “Our customers want customised fill quantities, short supply chains and personalised service. We combine all of this with the new Beauty Bar, which has now been introduced at the request of many package-free shops and is being enthusiastically received,” says our co-managing director Stephan Stavridis. In keeping with the principle of “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle’, the 1,000 ml and 2,500 ml amber glass containers are part of the reusable system and are cleaned and refilled once returned.♻️

Towards a reusable future with strong partners

As a supporting member of Unverpackt e.V., we currently offer 16 products for self-refill; including hand cream, body lotion, shower gel, shampoo and facial care products containing Fairtrade ingredients such as green tea, almond oil, apricot kernel oil, coconut or lime. The Fairtrade seal we have been awarded guarantees a fair price for producers, as well as a premium that is used to improve the living conditions of the workers. The Vegan Society guarantees through its seal that our products certified by them are free from animal-derived ingredients. We at FAIR SQUARED are therefore a good choice for vegans and – as the majority of our products are also halal-certified – for Muslims too.
