In this, we follow the criteria of the natural cosmetics standard set by ICADA (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.icada.eu\">www.icada.eu<\/a>). Our cosmetics are also free from genetically modified substances, mineral oils, petrochemicals, synthetic fragrances and artificial preservatives<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Is natural cosmetics the same as organic cosmetics?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No, not necessarily: natural cosmetics refers to cosmetics made from natural, nature-identical and nature-derived raw materials \u2013 this is not automatically the same as organic certification. However, a large proportion of the ingredients in our products are additionally organic-certified, for example under the EU Organic Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2018\/848); only a small number of raw materials are not (yet) organic-certified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Is the term \u201cnatural cosmetics\u201d legally protected?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No: unlike \u201corganic\u201d for food and cosmetic raw materials, the term \u201cnatural cosmetics\u201d is not legally protected in the EU \u2013 in theory, any brand could use it, even without independent review. Reliable guidance is therefore provided by independent standards such as ICADA (www.icada.eu), NATRUE or COSMOS, each with their own criteria and controls. We align our formulations with the criteria set by ICADA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How do your products stay preserved without artificial preservatives?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instead of artificial preservatives, we rely on natural preservation systems as well as formulations and packaging that make contamination difficult in the first place \u2013 such as hygienic dispensers. The PAO symbol (Period After Opening, stated in months) on each package shows you how long you can safely use a product once it has been opened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Is natural cosmetics automatically vegan?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not necessarily: recognized natural cosmetics standards such as ICADA do not generally rule out individual ingredients of animal origin \u2013 such as beeswax or lanolin.
